Wellness allowance

As an employee at SMHI, you receive a wellness allowance of 3500 SEK per year, as well as discounted rates at a variety of wellness providers.

Occupational pension

As a government employee, you receive a occupational pension in addition to the public pension. You can also choose to convert salary or accumulated vacation days into pension.

Flexible working hours

Flexible working hours are based on a high level of trust between the manager and the employee. The main purpose is neither to increase nor decrease the individual employee's working hours, but to increase flexibility.
