"Excellent Arbetsgivare 2024" in Gold

Certificate awarded by Nyckeltalsinstitutet for the mapping of actual working conditions, Gender Equality Index JÄMIX®2023.

Jämix evaluates gender equality in the work environment and employment conditions across 400 Swedish employers, encompassing over 800,000 employees in both the private and public sectors.

The survey examines nine key metrics, including factors such as equal career opportunities for managers, salary, employment rates, and parental leave usage.

Top among agencies

SMHI scored 153 points, the highest among all government agencies surveyed, and within the top 10% overall. The median score for all organisations was 127 points, with state agencies averaging slightly higher at 132 points.

Long-term commitment

The results indicate that SMHI generally provides equitable working conditions. This has been achieved through long-term efforts in these important areas, and this work will continue.
