SMHI's code of conduct
SMHI's code of conduct outlines SMHI's views on sustainability and is used in our business relationships with other companies and organisations.
In SMHI's national and international work, we adhere to the national laws in place, as well as the EU legal framework. We support the ten principles for sustainable business established by the UN initiative Global Compact, which we also encourage our suppliers and other partners to follow. We aim to align with the national action plan developed by the Government for business and human rights.
In addition to the ten principles for sustainable business, we have developed a supplementary code of conduct for SMHI. It includes five parts:
- Combat corruption, bribery, and conflicts of interest
- Promote fair competition
- Encourage diversity
- Support a sustainable environment
- Foster a good working environment
