Published

To apply for a job with us, complete an application form and attach the requested documents. This usually takes just a few minutes. On the job openings page, you can find all the positions we are currently advertising.

The application process in steps

Application

When you have found an interesting position, click "Apply" in the advertisement and fill in your details. Attach the requested documents and approve the registration of your personal information. You will receive a confirmation via email once your application has been received.

Selection and interview

After the application period has ended, we will conduct selection and interviews. The interviews give us the opportunity to gain a more detailed understanding of you as a candidate, while you will get a better understanding of the position. If you proceed further in the process, a second interview and possibly a work sample may be required before reference checks.

Decision

After the reference checks, a decision is made regarding who is best suited for the position, and an offer of employment is made. An employment contract is then signed, and we can warmly welcome you to SMHI.

If you are applying for a job and have a protected identity, you should contact the HR specialist responsible for the recruitment. You will then be guided through a secure application process. You should not apply digitally, email your application, email personal information, or create an account in our recruitment system. You will find the contact details for the responsible HR specialist at the bottom of the advertisement.
